Feature Details for the new version Sign Host:


Netkey Sign Host 4.9

- Multi-Zone Support: Player software includes the ability to run two independent content zones. Common applications include (1) central administration of side panels (2) allocating a portion of the screen for banner advertisements or (3) custom use of another schedulable zone. 

- Netkey Software Updater: Players can be configured to auto update Sign Host software when we release new versions.

- Vista Support: Players can now run on Microsoft Vista Business Edition SP1



Netkey Sign Admin 4.9 and Netkey Smart Control 1.1

- Vista Support: Admin can now run on Microsoft Vista Business Edition SP1

 


Sign Server 4.9 for SaaS / Hosted Customers

- Email Alerts: Sign Host media players that are not communicating with the Sign Server will be alerted by email based on user-defined settings.

- Centralized Player Configuration Control: Users now have the ability to centrally manage tickers, side panel window and many other settings in Sign Server.   

- Reservation Scheduling Performance: The scheduling / reservation system performance has been performance enhanced.




Release Notes:
- All configurations such as Site ID, Auto Start on reboot and playlist data are not preserved on upgrade
- PowerPoint is not supported for multi-zone configurations
- Multi-zone is not supported in Standard (Lite) mode
- Startup / Shutdown and RS-232 (Service Port) has been changed from 5910 to 5912. 
- Connect to Sign (Host Port): remains the same at 5911



Instructions for Upgrading:

1. Remove the Sign Host from your computer 
	
2. download the latest release of sign administrator and sign host from www.webpavement.com/digital-signage-downloads.htm 

3. Re-Install the new software packages
