Sign Host instructions for setting your Side Information Panel.

Setting the side bar infopanel is very common for digital signage. Webpavement offers weather side panels or RSS side panels.
1. Close the Sign Host window that is currently displaying on your media player.
2. Open the Sign Host Console that is running in your System Tray. Click Update Templates.
3. Click Configure. Go to the data source tab
4. A Skin can be specified to frame your content and customize the screen layout enter the location of your skin if you have a custom skin you would like to use
5. Check the Use InfoPanel data feed box then click the button with the 3 dots on it
6. Info Panel Template Configurations:
(1) There are currently 3 Info Panel templates that can be used with Sign Host Weather forecast F, Weather forecast C, and RSS Generic
(2) Panel: Select the template to use
(3) Data/Feed: enter zip code(s) separated by commas for weather OR enter url for RSS feed
(4) Position: Select the position for your Info Panel left or right
(5) Size: Set the size to be used by Info Panel measured as a percentage of screen resolution
(6) File/Image: if desired, specify the location of a flash file or image file for placement on Info Panel
Note: The Data Source tab entries will be updated with your selections from Info Panel configuration.
7. Click OK, Hide then click PLAY
8. To change your info panel, click the ESC key to minimize the Sign Host. Close Sign Host and repeat these steps.
